The Union of South American Nations, or UNASUR, is a regional intergovernmental organization aimed at promoting integration and cooperation among South American countries. Founded in 2008, it seeks to foster collaboration in areas such as economic development, infrastructure, culture, and social policies. UNASUR also works to strengthen regional sovereignty, support peace and democracy, and provide a platform for dialogue to address shared challenges across member states.
